3. Understand the complete hazard path
Every report follows a three-level structure: Hazard Family → Subcategory → Specific Hazard. For example: Wildlife → Reptiles → Rattlesnake.
4. Receive location-aware warnings
Severity-based zones can provide escalating notifications as the user approaches a hazard. Future options may include visual, audio, haptic, watch, and route-aware alerts.
5. Review evidence and trust information
Reports can include photos, comments, timestamps, approximate location, confirmations, expert review, freshness, disputes, and source type. The interface should communicate uncertainty instead of pretending every report is equally reliable.
6. Report factual hazards
Users select the hazard type, confirm location, add details and a photograph, and submit the report for community or moderation review. Ethical-use language emphasizes factual, safety-oriented reporting.
7. Prepare for limited connectivity
Offline trip packs are planned to store selected hazards, maps, emergency contacts, and preparation information before a user enters an area with weak service.
8. Close the loop
Users can confirm, dispute, update, or mark hazards resolved. This helps reports become more useful over time and reduces stale information.
